Small business branding: A brand youwould put ona van.
Positioning, a logo and identity system, and the words that go with it, for businesses where the owner still answers the phone. Three weeks, one fixed quote, and you own every file.
Sound familiar
Your logo was made in an afternoon.
It looked fine on the first sign. Now it is stretched across a van, a website and a shirt, and none of them match.
From outside, you look like the other three.
Three businesses in town do what you do, and a stranger cannot tell them apart. The choice goes to whoever looks most sure of themselves.
You cannot say it in one line.
You can explain what makes you different in the third minute of a conversation. A stranger on your website gives you one sentence.
What is included
Your site works. Your brand is letting it down.
Brand, 3 weeks
- Positioning and messaging
- Full logo and identity system
- Guidelines and templates
- Copy for up to 5 pages
- Two rounds of changes
How it runs
- Week 1
Positioning
We interview you, three of your customers, and one person who chose somebody else. The sentence comes out of that.
- Week 2
First route
The identity direction and the sentence, reviewed together. If it is wrong, you stop here on a third of the fee.
- Week 3
The system
Logo lockups, color, type, templates and one page of rules, delivered as files in your name.
The terms
- Paid in thirds: signing, week two review, launch.
- Stop at the week two review and you owe nothing further.
- Two founders, three projects at a time. That is the capacity, not a tactic.
- Retainers cancel with thirty days notice.
- Domains, code, fonts, analytics and every account are registered in your name at kickoff, not transferred at the end. Leaving us is a password change, not a negotiation.
Questions owners ask
- How much does small business branding cost?
- After a twenty minute call about your business, we send a written scope and one fixed number within two working days. It is paid in thirds, and if the week two review lands wrong you stop there and owe nothing further.
- Do I own the logo and the files?
- Yes. Every file, font license and account is registered in your name from the first day, not handed over at the end.
- I already have a website. Is this still worth it?
- Brand works on its own. You get the identity and copy for up to five pages, and whoever runs your site can use them. If the site is part of the problem, Brand and Website run as one six week project.
- What kind of businesses do you work with?
- Owner operated ones: dentists, carpenters, physical therapists, builders, vets, salons and the like. If the owner is the person making the decision, we are probably a fit.
Twenty minutes with the founders, about your business first. No deck, no pitch.
