Website redesign: A new website that keeps what worked.

Your site was fine once. We keep the pages that bring people in, replace the rest, and move the old addresses across so Google can still find you.

20 minutes about your business, with the people who would do the work. No sales pitch.

Sample: Hollis & Park Architects, a website for an architecture studio

Sample work by Oiko. Every business shown is made up.

Sound familiar?

  1. My website looks old.

It was built years ago and it shows. You are a better business than your site suggests, and a new customer decides in seconds.

  2. It does not work properly on a phone.

People pinch and zoom to read it, or the buttons are too small to press. Some give up before they find your number.

  3. I am afraid of losing my place on Google.

You have pages that people find. A careless rebuild breaks the addresses, and the calls can stop. Nobody tells you why.

  4. I cannot update it, and the person who built it is gone.

You do not know where the domain is registered or who has the logins. You are stuck with a site you cannot touch.

What you get

  • 01

A review of your current site

We go through what you have: what brings people in, what is out of date and what is missing. You get a plain list.

  • 02

A plan for your old pages

We list every address on your current site and decide what to keep, move or drop. Old addresses that people use are sent to the right new page.

  • 03

A new design and new words

A fresh look made for your business, and words that say what you do. We keep the good lines you already have.

  • 04

    Fast on a phone

Built by hand, tested on phones first, with big buttons and clear text. Customers of any age can read it.

  • 05

    Your Google listing looked after

Before the switch we record how your pages look on Google. After it, we check that they are still there.

  • 06

    Yours to keep

The domain, the code and the hosting account are put in your name. If they are not today, we fix that first.

Who it is for

How it works

  1. Step 1

We look at what you have

A 20 minute conversation, then a look through your current site. We note which pages people find through Google and which ones do nothing.

    You receive

    • A written list of what works, what does not and what is missing
    • A list of every page address on your current site
  2. Step 2

    We decide what stays

Together we decide which pages to keep, which to join together and which to drop. We write down where every old address will go.

    You receive

    • A page by page plan, new site beside old
    • A map from every old address to its new home
  3. Step 3

    We design and write it

A new look and new words on your pages, built around the plan. You see real pages, on a phone and on a computer.

    You receive

    • Designs of the main pages for review
    • The words for every page, for your approval
    • Rounds of changes agreed at the start
  4. Step 4

We build it and test the switch

We build the new site on a private link. You try it. We check that every old address lands on the right new page before anything goes live.

    You receive

    • A private link to the new site
    • A checked list of old addresses and where they go
  5. Step 5

    We switch and then check

The new site goes live on your domain. Afterward we check that your pages are still on Google and nothing is broken.

    You receive

    • The new site live on your domain
    • A check of your Google listing after the switch
    • Code, domain and accounts in your name

What you own

Your web address, accounts and files belong to you from day one. If you leave us, you keep all of it.

Questions owners ask

Will I lose my place on Google?

We take care to avoid that. We list your old pages, send each old address to its new page, and check afterward. No one can promise a ranking, but we do the work that protects what you have.

Can you keep my domain name?

Yes. Your site address stays the same. We just need the login for wherever it is registered, and we put it in your name if it is not.

What if I do not know who has my domain or logins?

Common, and fixable. We help you find who holds the domain and get it into your name before we start.

Do I have to redo all my words and photos?

No. We keep what is good and rewrite what is not. If your photos are weak, we tell you which ones to replace.

Is my site bad enough to need a full redesign?

Not always. Sometimes a smaller fix is enough. A website check-up gives you a written list, and you decide.

Will my site be down while you work?

No. We build the new one on a private link, and your current site stays live until the switch.

Can I change things myself afterward?

Yes, the pages you change often, like hours, prices and photos. We show you how.

Can you add online booking while you are at it?

Yes. It is a common reason to redo a site. See online booking.
