Oiko

The two of us

No juniorslearning onyour money.

Oiko is deliberately two people, on two continents, both on every project from the first call through to the monthly report. It caps how many clients we can take, which is the point. You are not being handed to an account manager who was hired last quarter.

01Brand and Strategy

Radovan

Fifteen years turning businesses that were bad at explaining themselves into businesses that were not.

Radovan is writing this himself rather than have it written for him. Until it is here, the short version: fifteen years in brand and identity, and the half of Oiko that decides what your business looks like and what it says. Ask for the full portfolio on the revamp call and you will get it the same day.

Holds these to be true

  • A brand is a promise you can be held to, not a mood.
  • If the owner cannot say it in one sentence, no ad will save it.
  • Taste is mostly having seen more things than the client has.
02Product and Operations

Aditya

Builds the machinery that keeps a rebrand alive long after the launch.

Product manager on promotions and pricing systems for a Fortune 20 US retailer, where a mistake in a data pipeline quietly costs more than most small businesses earn in a year. That job is mostly one skill repeated: find the manual step somebody postponed, and kill it.

Small businesses run on those postponed steps. The invoice chased on a Sunday, the enquiry sitting unread for four days, the customer list that stopped being true in March. Large companies buy software for that. Everybody else absorbs it, until somebody takes it off them.

Holds these to be true

  • The unglamorous half is where the retainer is earned.
  • Every manual process is a decision somebody postponed.
  • Ship in six weeks or the client stops believing you.

How we split it

One of us makes it.One of us keepsit running.

Most agencies are built by designers, which is why the work is beautiful for four months and then quietly decays. Most operations firms are built by operators, which is why the work runs forever and looks like a spreadsheet.

We built this with one of each, on purpose. The identity is made by somebody who has spent fifteen years making identities, and the machinery underneath it is built by somebody who finds manual processes personally offensive. The eight hour gap between us is not a compromise we apologize for. It means something moves on your account while you sleep.
