The brand
An oven door you can recognize from across the street
The mark is the oven arch with three racks of bread inside it. One shape that prints on a bag, stamps on a box and lights up over a door.
Logo
A horizontal lockup for signs, a stacked one for packaging, the mark alone for small spaces, and a seal for stickers and boxes.
Color
Fired colors with a plain white-flour ground. Ember leads, crust warms it, char anchors it.
Type
A heavy slab for headlines that sounds like a shopfront. A friendly, clear sans for everything you read.
Bread is flour, water, salt and patience.
Regular for menus and long reading, semibold for labels, bold for prices and buttons. Set at 18 pixels on screen, never smaller than 15.

In use
The identity on a paper bag, a menu board and the front of the shop.
About
One oven, a long rise, an early start
Ember Row is a bakehouse built around a single brick-lined deck oven. Dough rests overnight so the flavor has time to arrive, and the loaves go in dark, the way we like them.
The menu stays short on purpose. A handful of breads, pastry that is laminated by hand, a few whole cakes, and coffee that holds its own next to all of it.
